Nepal is one of the top destinations for serious hikers as this country located in South East Asia has in it, the tallest of all mountains above the sea level: the Mt. Everest or locally known as Sagarmatha. The country in itself is very rich in the diversity of geography, religion and culture. Though Mt. Everest is the highest mountain, it also bears in it 7 other mountains falling under the list of the ten of the highest mountains in the world. When talking about heights, this country has definitely got it.

Religion plays a very important role in this country. The majority of the Nepalese people are into the religion of Hinduism though Buddhism is linked to this country historically as the birthplace of the Buddha. Nepal has a range of tourist spots which a lot of people can visit and appreciate such as the Kakani. The Kakani is located twenty nine kilometres north-west of the Kathmandu City. The place provides the views of the beautiful Alps down to the panorama of the Himalayas.

Another tourist spot would be the Dhulikhel. The ancient town of Dhulikhel is situated just thirty kilometres east of Kathmandu on the side of Kathmandu Kodari Highway or the Aniko Rajmarga. At this point a tourist can have his complete panoramic view of the snow covered ranges from Karyolung located in the east side area to Himalchuli spreading across the west side region.

The Namo Buddha can be found simply situated on top of a hill just above Panauti. An easy drive towards there or a nice good walk is needed to reach the place. The place is just oozing with culture and history as there happens to be a very interesting story of the Buddha which is now commemorated by a very ancient stone slab and a stupa.
